Reading on VookNook
What is VookNook?
VookNook is an independent digital bookstore marketplace where authors and creators sell downloadable books directly to readers. Browse books by title, author, category or format.
Are all books free?
Reader accounts are free. Authors set their own book prices, and each book page shows its current price. Only books priced at $0 are free to claim.
Where do I find my purchased books?
After a successful purchase, sign in to My Library to download your book, including on your phone.
How can I learn about an author?
Book pages include the author’s biography when supplied and a link to their full storefront. AI-generated and personally written labels reflect the author’s declaration; an unspecified label means the author has not declared it.
For too long, talented writers have depended on publishing companies, literary agents, expensive publishing deals, and complicated contracts just to get their books into readers' hands. VookNook is changing that.
We believe every writer deserves the opportunity to publish independently, reach readers worldwide, and earn money from their creativity without surrendering control to a traditional publishing company.
Whether you've written your first novel, a children's book, a thrilling mystery, a romance, an educational guide, or created an innovative video book (Vook), VookNook gives you a place to showcase and sell your work directly to readers.

The next evolution
Introducing the VOOK: The Next Evolution in Digital Storytelling!
What is a VOOK?
A VOOK (Video Audio Book) is an innovative form of digital storytelling that combines the power of traditional books, professional audio narration, and engaging video visuals into one immersive entertainment experience.
Unlike conventional eBooks or audiobooks, a VOOK allows audiences to watch, listen, and experience a story simultaneously, bringing characters, emotions, environments, and narratives to life in an entirely new way.
Watch
Cinematic video visuals illustrate the action.
Listen
Professional audio narration carries the story.
Experience
One immersive digital experience, all at once.
Imagine reading your favorite novel, hearing the story unfold through captivating narration, and watching cinematic visuals illustrate the action—all within one digital experience.
VOOKs represent a new opportunity for independent authors, storytellers, and digital creators to transform their written works into multimedia experiences that engage today's visually driven audiences.
Through VookNook, independent creators can showcase and sell their original VOOKs directly to readers and viewers, opening new possibilities for storytelling, creativity, and digital publishing.
The future of books isn't just something you read. It's something you WATCH, HEAR, and EXPERIENCE.
We believe writers should be independent
You don't need a publishing company to tell you whether your story deserves to be read.
You don't need a literary agent to validate your talent.
And you shouldn't have to sign away your creative freedom just to sell a book.
If you can write it, you deserve the opportunity to sell it.
At VookNook, we're creating a community where independent writers become entrepreneurs, creativity becomes opportunity, and every story has a chance to find its audience.
Write It. Upload It. Sell It. Own It.
Browse shelves full of independent stories, or open a storefront and start selling yours.
